Two Honorable Mentions in Mobile Photography Awards!
I entered the Mobile Photography Awards (MPAs)–one of the most important and prestigious events in the mobile photography /art world– for the first time in 2020. I was gobsmacked to find that I received an honorable mention. As I wrote in an earlier blog, I had looked at the MPAs over the years for inspiration and had never seen myself as someone who would (could?) have an image in its yearly award collection. I entered again for 2021 and was floored to actually have two images receive an honorable mentions. The results came out in late February, so I’m late (as usual) in reporting awards, but it doesn’t mean any less to me because I’d not put it here yet. I am still so thankful and excited!
