Honorable Mention in Mobile Photography Awards!

The MPA (Mobile Photography Awards) is one of the most prestigious and important events for the mobile photography and art community. I used to enjoy perusing the winning entries of the MPAs every year, never dreaming that one day I would be a participant, much less chosen for any type of award. This past year I actually entered, and was incredibly surprised to find that my image “agency,” was selected for Honorable Mention in the Digital Art category for the 2020 awards. The results were announced in February. (And yes, I know I am soooooooo behind with news for the blog!) I am so thankful for this award, but also for all the support I’ve felt in the mobile arts community. It’s really an amazing group of people who care about art and support each other. Without them, I know I wouldn’t have made the art I have in the past couple of years and definitely wouldn’t have had the courage to enter any contests. If you are interested in participating in the mobile art community and don’t know where to start, shoot me a message on the contact page. I hope to write a blog post soon about participating in the community.
